Jodi Major joined Cornerstone Government Affairs in June 2003 after nearly a decade of service on Capitol Hill. Jodi manages Cornerstone’s administrative staff after having spent six years as a staff member for Congressman James T. Walsh (R-NY), chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations. In his office, she served as the Congressman’s Executive Assistant and Scheduler. During this time, her duties included coordinating the Congressman’s Washington, D.C. and district schedules and office management, including the intern coordination. Jodi assisted in coordinating all of the Congressman’s Washington fundraising where she interacted on a regular basis with Members of Congress and various corporate leaders. Prior to joining Mr. Walsh’s staff, Jodi spent two years as a staff assistant to Congressman Herb Bateman (R-VA) whom she joined after working on his 1994 Congressional campaign. Jodi earned a B.S. in Political Science from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
