Brandon S Renner

Brandon S. Renner is Counsel in the Firm's Evansville, Indiana, office. His practice focuses on issues associated with natural resource development, specifically as it relates to the acquisition of mineral interests and operations. He is routinely involved in the issuance of title opinions for major coal producers and independent oil and gas operators in the Illinois Basin and works closely with industry landmen assisting in curative‑related matters. Mr. Renner currently sits on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Professional Landmen. Before joining Jackson Kelly, Mr. Renner was an associate at Rhine Ernest LLP. He earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University in 2000 and then his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, in 2003. Mr. Renner also served in the United States Navy for four years, on board the USS Kinkaid (DD 965) and USS Nimitz (CVN 68).
