Amando Balbuena

Amando Balbuena III leads the firm's marketing and communications efforts and supports firm's operational management. Prior to Sonen, he served as an Executive Director for CCS Fundraising, where he managed successful capital campaigns across different regions in the United States and Canada. He also prepared feasibility and assessment studies to gauge an organization's fundraising potential and crafted marketing strategies. Concurrent with his work, Amando also taught Excel and ePhilanthropy courses and was an Education Officer for the CCS Learning Institute. Amando currently sits on the board of R.O.C.K., a San Francisco non-profit that runs after school programs for youth in high-risk neighborhoods. He is a member of the Commonwealth Club and the United Nations Association. Amando earned a B.S. from the University of San Francisco with an emphasis in Computer Science,
