In his former life, Aaron Marshall was an Army Intelligence Officer who spent more than two years deployed to Iraq leading the most technically and tactically advanced Military Intelligence Soldiers in our nation’s history. He walked the streets of Tal’Afar, IZ in ‘05-‘06 and fought in arguably the most successful counter-insurgency operation to date in Iraq, which became the basis for the eventual Baghdad surge. He was also lucky enough to be entrusted with one of the first Army Intelligence Multi-Function Teams during the battle of Sadr City from ’07-‘09. If you ask him, he’d tell you that there’s not an “INT” that he hasn’t successfully leveraged in an operational environment. Since transitioning from the military in ’09, he continued his service in quite another manner as a Berico Technologies team member. Over the past three and a half years with Berico, he has served as a Trainer/Curriculum Developer, Intelligence Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Business Developer, and Program Manager. Since innovation and thought leadership permeate our culture, he has participated in community-changing technical solutions and had the opportunity to build a successful business unit providing analytics and operations services across a broad range of IC customers. In his free time, Aaron enjoys organizing Berico events ranging from mud runs to happy hours. You might find his project teams on the paintball field or playing football on the national mall. There’s also a chance you’ll catch him geeking out on Axis and Allies expansion sets or wondering if J.J. Abrams can close a third Star Wars trilogy.
