Niall FitzGerald

Mr FitzGerald is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the British Museum and a senior adviser to Allen & Company. Mr FitzGerald was Chairman of Holdingham from 2008 to July 2013. He spent over 30 years with Unilever, serving as chairman and CEO between 1996 and 2004. Mr FitzGerald was also chairman of Reuters, and then deputy chairman of Thomson Reuters, a post he held until May 2011. Mr FitzGerald has served as a director of Merck, Ericsson, the Bank of Ireland and the Prudential Corporation. He has also been a member of the Advisory Board of Spencer Stuart, the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum and the Advisory Board of the Council on Foreign Relations. He has been Chairman of the International Business Council, Co-Chair of TransAtlantic Business Dialogue, and President of the Advertising Association.
