Gerald Moor

Gerald Moor's career includes 20 commissioned years in the British Army where he was involved in the International intelligence arena including counter terrorism. He made the definitive documentary on The Battle of Jutland shown on ITV and was awarded The Duke of Edinburgh's Jubilee Trust Award in 1991. On leaving the Services, he founded and ran a manufacturing business in the SCUBA arena having invented the world's only underwater back mounted propulsion unit with a variable speed control. During that time he was the Chairman of the Dive Trade Association and a Director of the British Sports Federation. He has been Chairman of a hospital offering innovative services and Governor of a State Community College. He sold his first business in 1996 and went on to establish The Inkerman Group in the same year, where he is the CEO. The Group also comprises companies involved in translation, training, policing resources and Special Projects. He is Master of the Worshipful Company of the Security Professionals and was installed on the 07 June 2012 at Drapers’ Hall. He is a Freeman of the City of London, a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), a member of the Special Forces Club and the Carlton Club. His interests include, but are not restricted to, fly fishing, golf, shooting and good company.
