Hans-Peter Keitel

Professor Dr. Hans-Peter Keitel is a member of, among others, the supervisory boards of Commerzbank, Hochtief, National Bank, Deutsche Messe and ThyssenKrupp. He is also an industrial adviser to the private equity group EQT, vice president of the Federation of German Industry, and president of the board of trustees of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs. Previously, Dr Keitel was a member of the supervisory board of Hochtief and chaired its executive board for 15 years until 2007, having first joined the business in 1988. For seven years he was a member of the executive board of RWE. From 2009-2012 he was president of the Federation of the German Construction Industry. He started his career in 1975 with the consulting engineering business Lahmeyer International.
