Akio Mimura

Mr Akio Mimura served as the President of Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation from 2003 until 2008. He joined Fuji Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. in April 1963. He also serves as the Vice Chairman and Director of Nippon Keidanren. Mr Mimura served as the Vice Chairman of the World Steel Association. He serves as Member of the Advisory Board of the Development Bank of Japan, and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. He also serves as a Member of the International Advisory Board of Rolls-Royce Holdings plc. Mr Mimura has been a Director of Tokio Marine Holdings Inc since June 2010. Mr Mimura serves as a Committee Member of the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan.
