Heather L Demirjian

Ms. Demirjian concentrates her practice in all areas of state and federal environmental law. She repre- sents clients from a wide range of industries, including chemical and pharmaceutical companies, corpo- rate and banking clients and real estate developers. Ms. Demirjian’s experience includes: • Counseling clients concerning the environmental risks and liabilities impacting transactions involv- ing pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing companies, private equity investors and national specialty service companies. • Representing clients in administrative and civil enforcement proceedings and in litigation under major state and federal environmental laws including CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, TSCA and state law equivalents. • Counseling clients on a wide range of permitting issues relating to new and existing pollution sources. • Assisting clients in navigating chemical and hazardous materials reporting requirements under various state and federal environmental laws. Ms. Demirjian is an active member of Blank Rome’s Chemical Industry Team. She has authored articles on chemical industry, energy and environmental related issues and has given presentations to clients and peers involving environmental laws and issues.
