Martin Bienenstock

Martin Bienenstock is chair of the firm's Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group. Martin provides clients with multidisciplinary solutions that draw on his combined experience in corporate law, governance, reorganization, litigation, and Dodd-Frank. Martin’s practice includes the formulation of derivatives benefitting from the Bankruptcy Code’s safe harbors, and Martin has extensive experience in broker-dealer insolvencies such as MF Global where he represented the statutory creditors’ committee and Lehman Brothers where he represented and represents many financial institutions against the SIPA trustee and Lehman. Martin also teaches corporate reorganization at Harvard Law School and University of Michigan Law School.
