C Bret Jessee

C. Bret Jessee, a senior fellow with the CPRC, is also a research director in the biomedical industry, working in the areas of trauma and reconstructive surgery. He received his PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University in 1986 and did post-doctoral research at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and The University of Rochester. Bret’s recent industry research projects include quantitative studies of conflict of interest in the surgical products medical literature and bias in the peer review process attributable to medical research funding.
