Steve Warren was born in Rochester, New York in 1960. He graduated magna cum laude Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College in 1982 and cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1985. He began his legal career with the law firm of Mitchell, Siberberg and Knupp in 1985, where he concentrated on entertainment law. In 1988, Stephen joined the firm of Hansen, Jacobson & Teller (presently named Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren & Richman, LLP), where he was named partner in 1990 and a name partner in 1998. The firm currently consists of 20 attorneys and concentrates on the representation of individuals and companies involved in the film and television industry. Stephen served on the Board of Trustees at the Center for Early Education from 2003-2007 and prior to that served as a member of the Mission and School Life sub-committee of the Board from 2001-2003. He is currently entering his second year on the Board of Trustees at the Archer School for Girls. Stephen and his partner George Harangody have been together as a couple for nearly 25 years and have a 15 year old daughter, Katie.
