Mamon Powers, III grew up in the construction industry and spent many summers in high school and college working for the family business. In 2007, he chose to follow in his father's, grandfather's, and uncle's footsteps by rejoining Powers & Sons Construction. He currently is on the Board of Directors for the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Ivy Tech Foundation, Indiana Construction Roundtable, and the John H. Boner Community Center. He is also an advisory Board Member for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership and is a member of United Way's Emerging Leaders. In 2011 Mamon was honored by being named to the Forty under 40 by the Indianapolis Business Journal. After earning his MBA from Purdue University, Mamon accepted a position with a large General Contractor in Kansas City, Missouri. During his tenure, Mamon worked on large hospital projects ranging from $40 to $140 million in value. This experience helped broaden Mamon's construction management experience and prepared him to return to Powers & Sons with new ideas and a fresh perspective. Over the years, Mamon has served in numerous capacities with Powers & Sons including Laborer, Carpenter Apprentice, Estimator, Project Engineer, and Project Manager. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and oversees the operations of the Indianapolis office. Mamon is committed to making sure every Powers & Sons project is a success.
