The entrepreneur cofounded the digital broadcasting services provider in 2009, in addition to several other companies, including VitalStream Holdings, which went public on the Nasdaq and was sold for about $217 million in stock in 2006 to Atlanta-based Internap Network Services Co.; and AnaServe Inc., a Newport Beach Web hosting company that was sold to Cupertino-based Concentric Network Corp. in 1988 for an undisclosed sum. Summers, a University of Southern California alumnae, had more than 20 years of executive management experience in the digital media sector. The company provides cloud data management and integration services that receive, store, secure, convert and deliver video-on-demand and live media feeds to smartphones, computers and televisions.
