Daniel A Gordon

Daniel (Dan) Gordon is the Chairman of Gordon Food Services Inc. based in Michigan. He joined the company in 1972 and took over as president in 1991. Through his leadership, Gordon Food Service has become a national and international presence, ranked 74th in Forbes' list of privately owned companies and is the largest family-owned food service company in America. In 2008, the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) presented the association's Cornerstone Award to Dan. He was a member of the IFDA Board of Directors and previously served on the IFDA Executive Committee and was the association's chairman from 2002 to 2004. He currently serves as a director of the Grand Valley University Foundation.
