Peter M Perez

Peter Perez received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University, served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and after his honorable discharge, graduated with honors with a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University. Peter's career in manufacturing has spanned over 40 years and included serving as presidents of Steinway and Sons, the world famous piano manufacturer and also C.G.Conn, manufacturers of band, orchestral and keyboard instruments. From 2010 until the end of June, 2012, Peter served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing in the Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration in Washington, DC. He currently is Chairman of Carter Products, an 85 year old, family owned business in Grand Rapids.
