Thomas Tullo

Thomas Tullo is a Managing Director at Compass Advisers with over 25 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Compass in December 2011, Mr. Tullo was a Managing Director of Gleacher & Company, serving as Head of Industrials and Clean Technology. Mr. Tullo has advised client across a broad range of industrial subsectors including: Flow Control (Tyco, Watts Water, Circor International, Robbins & Myers, and Taco Products), Electrical Equipment (Esco, Danaher, Power-One, X-Rite, and Metrologic), Electronic Manufacturing Services (M-Flex, Benchmark Electronics, and Viasystems). Additional clients served during his career include Hershey Foods, Sappi, Aspen Technologies, Entegris, and General Motors. Mr. Tullo joined RBC Capital Markets in 2007, as a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Industrial and Diversified Services. Prior to RBC, Mr. Tullo was Head of Industrial Technologies at Needham & Company. Prior to Needham, he was responsible for ING Barings’ Industrial Sector. Before joining ING in 1997, Mr. Tullo was a Managing Director at Schroders in New York and was a Managing Director at S.G. Warburg engaged in a broad base of cross-border mergers and advisory work. He began his investment banking career at Goldman Sachs in New York in 1987, following his work at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Tullo graduated from Dartmouth College, Summa cum laude in 1979 and Harvard Law School in 1982.
