Ms. Pihos, who splits her time between the Chicago office and Los Angeles, California, joined the firm in 2008 after serving as a law clerk to a federal district court judge and federal appellate judge, and is a partner specializing in complex civil litigation, primarily representing plaintiffs. Her practice consists of representing clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including cases brought under the Federal False Claims Act, state False Claims Acts, consumer protection laws, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and various constitutional provisions. Her practice also includes representing clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and consulting with non-profit corporations on a wide range of employment matters and other legal issues that arise during the course of their business.
