D Jarrett Collins

D. Jarrett Collins serves as Managing Director of NeoCarta Ventures, Inc. and NeoCarta Ventures, L.P. Mr. Collins serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Shipyard Venture Partners, LLC. He has nearly two decades of experience financing and running high-growth organizations. Prior to starting NeoCarta in 1999, he created and led TTC Ventures. He was a Director and Principal at TTC Ventures. He was a Principal at Copley Venture Partners. Mr. Collins’s investing career began with Copley Venture Partners in 1989. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Mulberry Child Care Centers, where Mr. Collins guided a successful turnaround at Mulberry, which was later sold to KinderCare. Since then, Mr. Collins has backed two dozen private technology companies, more than half of which have gone public and/or been acquired by public companies. He is on the Boards of Waterfront Media. He served as a Director of Everyday Health Inc since February 2006. Mr. Collins was a Director of Imaging Automation and Harborside. His nonprofit interests include the Tenacre Country Day School, where Mr. Collins serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He was Director of eTour, Inc. Mr. Collins graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. in Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
