David Elliott joined the firm in 2002 and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. In these roles, Dave oversees the firm’s accounting, financial management, regulatory compliance, risk management, information technology, and human resources departments. Dave serves as a member of the firm’s Executive, Risk Management, and Quality Assurance Committees. Dave seeks to guide the company’s growth while managing a complex regulatory and risk environment. Before joining Convergent, Dave was the controller for several companies and a business manager with The McGraw-Hill Companies. He began his career as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. In these positions, Dave used his experience in accounting to implement sound business processes and financial management. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia and is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 65 license. Originally from Virginia, Dave currently resides in Rockville, Maryland.
