Ted Hester is a senior partner in King & Spalding's Government Advocacy & Public Policy Practice Group. For the past two decades, Mr. Hester has represented clients before Congress and executive agencies. He continues to provide the company with advice and counsel regarding governmental programs. Mr. Hester is a past president of the Younger Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Georgia and served for several years as the Out of State Member of the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Hester moved from Atlanta to Washington in 1983 and served as Partner-in-Charge of King & Spalding's Washington office through 1992. He served as a member of the firm's Policy Committee from 1986 to 1991. From 1971-1972, Mr. Hester was a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator David H. Gambrell. Mr. Hester is a graduate of Harvard Law School (J.D. 1969) and the University of Georgia (A.B. 1966).
