Melanie Staggs

Staggs is a lifetime resident of Southern California and is active in numerous philanthropic and nonprofit organizations. She is on the advisory board of Goodsearch, LLC, an Internet search company that distributes 50 percent of its revenues to more than 32,000 charitable organizations nationwide. Staggs is the founder and chairperson of Thursday Night at the Movies, an annual benefit to raise money for The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network to promote food allergy research and education. She also worked in corporate strategic planning and brand management for the Walt Disney Company and in new business development for The Disney Stores. She holds a BA in economics, an MS in international policy and an MBA from Stanford University. She lives in Los Angeles County with her husband and three children.
