Brendan McAllister

Brendan embodies Pine River’s competitive excellence, applying his expertise to existing portfolios while continually seeking out new relative value opportunities. Brendan is Co-Portfolio Manager of the Pine River Fixed Income Fund and leads the firm’s effort in Mortgage Credit and Asset-Backed Trading. He serves as President of The Pine River Foundation and is a member of the firm’s Charitable Initiatives Committee. Prior to joining Pine River in 2008, Brendan served as an Institutional Fixed Income Salesman in the Securitized Products group at UBS Securities in New York from 2006 to 2008, specializing in Non-Agency mortgage bonds. Before joining the Securitized Products group, Brendan was an analyst in the UBS Fixed Income Sales & Trading training program. Brendan received a BA with a double major in Economics and Political Science at the University of Rochester in 2005. He was admitted to the partnership in 2011.
