Al Clise

Al is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Clise Properties, Inc. Al is the fourth generation leader of Clise Properties, one of Seattle’s oldest and largest property owners and developers. In addition to his duties as Clise Properties’ Chief Executive Officer, Al is an active community leader. Al was born in Seattle in 1949. He graduated from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He attended UNLV on a basketball scholarship. After college, Al worked in the hotel/casino industry and at a commercial/industrial real estate firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. He returned to Seattle in 1980 to join Clise Properties, quickly rising through the ranks and 1985 was named CEO. Al’s civic involvement includes serving on the boards of directors of the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, Economics America, St. Thomas School and the Fred Hutchinson Northwest Industry Partnership. He is past President and a current Trustee of the Building Owners and Management Association of Seattle-King County, and past Chairman and a current Trustee of the Downtown Seattle Association.
