Wes Uhlman

Wes is an attorney licensed to practice in Washington State and the District of Columbia. He specialized in real estate law and is President of Wes Uhlman & Associates, Inc., a real estate development and management company. He is a partner and has ownership interest in commercial property in California, Texas and Ohio. He was a partner in the law firm of Chan, Uhlman & Callies from 1960 to 1969. He served in the Washington House of Representatives and State Senate from 1959 to 1969, and as Mayor of Seattle from 1969 to 1978, and was a partner in the law firm of Inslee, Best, Chapin, Uhlman & Doezie, P. S. until 1983, when he commenced full-time in real estate development and management. Uhlman served in the Washington State Army National Guard holding the rank of Colonel with 36 years of service. He has served as Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Executive Board of the organization. He is on the Boards of various organizations throughout Seattle, ranging from Housing Development Corporation, Seattle Apartment Operators, Seattle Aquarium Society, University Rotary, and the Association of Washington Business.
