Sean Carey

Sean Carey is an experienced executive, whose career has spanned 20+ years in media and entertainment. Sean currently holds the position of Vice President, Content Acquisition at Netflix, Inc. where he is responsible for evaluating and licensing television content for the US Netflix service and film and television content for Canada Netflix service. Prior to joining Netflix, Sean was a long tenured executive at Sony Corporation and its subsidiaries, Sony Corporation of America and Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he held roles in film finance, corporate development, strategic planning, content acquisition, and digital entertainment. Sean holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Entertainment Management from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Television Radio and Film Management from Syracuse University.
