Gerald W Deitchle

GERALD (“JERRY”) W. DEITCHLE has been a member of our Board of Directors since November 2004 and Chairman of the Board since June 2008. Mr. Deitchle was our Chief Executive Officer from February 2005 until he retired from the position in February 2013. Mr. Deitchle also held the title as President of BJ’s from February 2005 until December 2012. Prior to joining our Company, Mr. Deitchle served as President, Chief Operating Officer and a director of Fired Up, Inc., from April 2004 to January 2005, a privately held company that owns, operates and franchises the Johnny Carino’s Italian restaurant concept. From 1995 to 2004, he was a member of the executive management team at The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, a publicly held operator of upscale casual dining restaurants with his last position as corporate President. From 1984 to 1995, he was employed by the parent company of Long John Silver’s Restaurants, Inc., with his last position as Executive Vice President.
