Shannon Ratliff

With more than a dozen years experience representing clients on critical public issues, Shannon Ratliff is a strong believer in the strategic value of a coordinated approach to public issues to strengthen brand and business strategy. Mr. Ratliff leads client engagement teams for the firm's Public Issues Management Group with a focus on creating client solutions that enhance knowledge transfer within the client organization on public issues and improve outcomes on critical public issues. Mr. Ratliff facilitates the co-creation of strategic objectives with the client's internal team, directs research and the development of recommendations to achieve those objectives, assembles a purpose-built team to deliver on those objectives, and manages all aspects of the client engagement. An experienced advocate on legislative and public policy issues in both Texas and Washington, D.C., Mr. Ratliff also handles selected client representations on matters before the Texas Legislature and state agencies. His in-depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process is complemented by his diverse experience representing clients across a broad array of industries, including: technology and telecommunications; petrochemicals & refining; electric utilities; renewable energy; financial services; local government and healthcare.
