Laura Bishop

Laura Bishop was promoted May 2014 to EVP and Chief Financial Officer, reporting to the CEO. Bishop joined USAA in 2001 and has served in a variety of senior leadership roles in Internal Audit, Capital Management, Corporate Financial Planning, and Financial Strategy and Reporting. She was named Deputy CFO in 2012. Bishop serves as Chair of the Board for USAA Property Holdings, Inc. and as a member of the Boards of USAA Real Estate Company, USAA Limited, the USAA Educational Foundation and the USAA Foundation, Inc. She also serves as President of the USAA Reciprocal Attorney-in-Fact, Inc. Bishop is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with Highest Honors. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and holds memberships in the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). Bishop's community involvement includes various volunteer activities in her church and her son’s high school. She also volunteers with military-related organizations and currently serves as Honorary Commander, 37th Training Wing at Lackland Air Force Base. Bishop also serves on the Advisory Board of FM Global.
