Valerie A Slater

Valerie A. Slater heads the firm's international trade practice and serves on the firmwide management committee. Ms. Slater concentrates on trade regulatory matters. Ms. Slater received her B.A. magna cum laude in 1974 from Allegheny College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1977. Ms. Slater is a member of the District of Columbia Bar. In 2007 Ms. Slater was named by Legal Times as one of the 10 leading international trade lawyers in Washington, D.C. She is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009).
