Monique Katz is a radiologist currently practicing part-time at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. A graduate of Vassar College and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she holds the rank of Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology (ret.) at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and was Director of the Irving Pavilion Department of Radiology. Dr. Katz is a Vice Chairman of the Board of Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women, a board member of JOFA, and is a member of the Chevra Kadisha of Englewood, New Jersey. She received Honorary Doctorates from both Bar-Ilan University (in 1993) and Yeshiva University (in 1996) and the Maimonides Award from Shaare Zedek in 2010. In 2012, the Katzes donated the Dr. Monique C. Katz Interventional Radiology Unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and have endowed the Dr. Monique C. Katz Deanship at Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women.
