Peter D Tamsen

Peter D. Tamsen, was born on October 8, 1955, in Newburgh, New York. He is the son of James Pierson Tamsen and Mary Dimos Tamsen. Peter has had a parochial school educational background having attended Bishop Dunn Memorial school in Newburgh, New York. Peter graduated from Syracuse University in 1982 and continued his education by attending Seattle University School of Law, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree. He then returned to New York and began the practice of law for a New York City law firm where he ultimately became the managing partner. Peter has been engaged in the practice of law for twenty-five years, is a member of good standing of the New York State Bar, and is now engaged in the private practice of law with an extensive, knowledge, background and concentration in banking, creditors rights and commercial and residential real estate related matters with an office located at 260 Montauk Highway Suite 14, Bay Shore, New York. Peter is also the President of Waters Edge Abstract, Inc. a title abstract company underwriting title insurance throughout the State of New York for Chicago Title Insurance, Land America Commonwealth, United General Title Insurance Company, Inc., and Stewart Title Insurance Company. Peter is married to his wife Julienne, and has three children, all boys, the youngest of which is a student at Saint Patrick’s Catholic School in Bay Shore, New York.
