Erin loves bringing humanity, creativity, strategy and analytics together to build businesses and brands. She's a dynamic leader with 20+ years of experience in social/ e-commerce technology, sales, marketing, P&L delivery and global business leadership. She’s served as a Section 16 officer/ CMO in three very different capacities: Fortune 50 company, high-growth startup pre- and post-IPO and now at a multi-billion dollar global solar energy company. Erin has a deep belief in the power of purpose to build durable businesses. Her love of purpose-driven brands led her to join SunPower, one of the world’s leading renewable energy solutions companies, as their EVP and Chief Marketing Officer in the fall of 2013. Previously, she held the position of CMO at Bazaarvoice, the leading platform for social engagement for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, where she led marketing efforts worldwide, and was one of the core executives who brought the company public in 2012. Before joining BV in November 2010, Erin served as CMO for Dell, where she led the Dell.com business (~$13B P&L), global brand, communications, media, agency and corporate social responsibility strategies, and led talent strategy for Dell's 4K marketers across the globe. Prior to being appointed as CMO in 2009, Erin spent three years in Europe as GM of the EMEA Dell.com business ($3B revenue), then as the VP of Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before EMEA, she led a sales organization in the Public sector ($1.4B in revenues) and led the Consumer marketing growth strategy, which drove the business from #4 to #1 market share in two years. Erin began her career in brand management at Procter & Gamble, consulted to some of the world's biggest brands while at A.T. Kearney, and drove corporate strategy at PepsiCo. Erin serves on the board of directors for evocalize, Waller Creek Conservancy and the University of Texas McCombs Business School.
