Jing-Li Yu is a senior associate in the Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Yu was a litigation associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf in New York City, where he worked primarily on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and on antitrust matters. Mr. Yu also served as a Community Service Fellow through Dewey, serving his fellowship at the Center on the Administration of Criminal Law, where he assisted with research in criminal justice policy and criminal law issues. While at the Center, he researched and drafted a Second Circuit amicus brief dealing with Miranda rights. While pursuing his legal education, Mr. Yu served as an intern to the Hon. Michael L. Bender of the Colorado Supreme Court. Mr. Yu previously worked for the 80-20 National Asian American Initiative, a national Asian American political organization that advocates for equal opportunity in the workplace and equal justice. He has continued to serve on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee, first as Treasurer and most recently as Chair of the Nominations Committee. Mr. Yu also serves on the Board of the 80-20 National Asian American Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting the welfare and political education of the Asian American community.
