Vincent A Sarni

Vincent “Vin” Sarni, the chairman and CEO of PPG Industries Inc. from 1984 to 1993, died on Feb. 21, 2022 at age 93. Sarni retired from PPG (NYSE: PPG) in 1993 after a 25-year long career with the company. Sarni also served as a director of PNC Financial Group Inc., served on the board of Carnegie Mellon University and was chairman of the board for the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, Allegheny General Hospital, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Opera.
