Lorraine S Boykin

Dr. Boykin received an Ed.D. from Columbia University in 1970, a master's degree in public administration from Long Island University in 1963, a master's degree in human relations from New York University in 1959, a master's degree in nutrition from Virginia State University in 1954, and a Bachelor of Arts in nutrition from Virginia State University in 1951. A certified nutritionist, she holds memberships to The New York Academy of Sciences, the American Public Health Association, the American Dietetic Association and the American College of Nutrition. Prior to her retirement as a department chairwoman, a position she held for 22 years, Dr. Boykin primarily taught nutrition and health.
