As Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs, Dr. Lamborn is responsible, working in close cooperation with faculty governance, for undergraduate course and curriculum matters, university graduation requirements, statewide transferability issues, the General Catalog, commencement, the Honors Program, summer session, the Center for Advising and Student Achievement (CASA), Air Force and Army ROTC, and other areas that contribute to the quality of the undergraduate educational experience. A professor of political science who specializes in world politics, Dr. Lamborn has been a faculty member at Colorado State University since 1984. He received his BA from Oberlin College and his MA and PhD from the University of Michigan. In his years at Colorado State prior to his appointment as Vice Provost, he served on curriculum committees at every level of the university; participated in many task forces and strategic planning committees charged with issues related to the curriculum, teaching, and learning; chaired a statewide committee on course transferability issues; was elected faculty representative to the governing board of the Colorado State University system; and served as associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts
