majored in Biology at Upsala College from 1963-1966. In 1970, he obtained his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. He served as a U.S. Army Captain for two years and has been in private practice in Philadelphia ever since. As a Clinical instructor at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, he taught all phases of general dentistry. Besides his involvement in dentistry, Dr. Yaffe maintains a high profile in the community. He is a board member of the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation, a Board of Trustee of Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital and V.P. of The American Jewish Committee. Professionally, Dr. Yaffe is a past president of the Eastern Dental Society, a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Cosmetic Dentists and the Philadelphia Cosmetic Dental Society.
