Nina Vaca

Nina Vaca is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Group, a leading workforce management provider focused on the Fortune 500 and other large users of contingent and temporary labor. Pinnacle Group provides a comprehensive portfolio of services including strategic resourcing/staffing, payrolling/independent contractor compliance, managed services programs, and vendor management software. Having founded the company in 1996 in her Dallas living room, Nina led Pinnacle Group to become one of the fastest growing and most widely recognized firms in the U.S. with over 70 national and local awards over the past decade. Most noteworthy among these are Pinnacle Group's ten consecutive appearances on the Inc. 500/5000 fastest growing firms, seven consecutive listings among Staffing Industry Analysts' fastest growing firms, and its 2015 recognition by the Women President's Organization as the #1 fastest growing woman-owned/led company in the U.S. In 2014, Nina was selected by President Obama as one of the inaugural members of the Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship program.  She is a director of three publicly-traded companies - Comerica, Inc., Kohl's Corporation, and Cinemark, Inc. Nina was also honored with a lifetime appointment as Chairman Emeritus of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, an organization that represents the interests of more than 4.1 million Hispanic-owned businesses. She has been recognized for eight consecutive years as one of the 101 Most Influential Latinos in America by Latino Leaders magazine and is a past recipient of the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award (Technology & Communications; Southwest). Nina attended Texas State University, graduating with her B.A. in Speech Communications and Business Administration, and was named the youngest Distinguished Alumna in TSU history. She completed the Harvard Business School's Corporate Governance Executive Program and has received three honorary doctorate degrees. She is a member of the 2016 Class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
