Marla Blow is a Partner with Fenway Summer and the CEO of FS Card Inc., a credit card venture designed to move small dollar loan customers into a more affordable product. Marla joined FS Card Inc. from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), where she served as Assistant Director for Card and Payment Markets and was responsible for policy related to the credit card, prepaid card, and payments industries. During her tenure, Marla served as lead author of the Federal government’s most comprehensive analysis of the consumer credit card market to date. Before joining the CFPB, Marla spent seven years in a variety of functions at Capital One including roles in risk management, marketing, finance, and business development. Prior to that, she was Founder and Vice President of Investment Research for Cameron Capital Management, a startup convertible bond arbitrage fund. Marla formerly sat on the board of the Washington Area Community Investment Fund and currently volunteers for Stanford alumni outreach. She is an avid soccer fan having played as a forward for the women’s team at the University of Pennsylvania. Marla holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and received her B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
