Charles C. Francis is a Senior Counselor to the DCI Group. Francis, a founding partner of the DCI Group, provides communications and issues management counsel and expertise. Francis serves on the Board of Trustees of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, and he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Smithsonian National Zoological Park in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining DCI Group, Mr. Francis worked for a broad range of corporations, countries and individual clients as Executive Vice President of two of the largest public affairs companies in the world, Burson, Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton. Mr. Francis served on the Presidential Advisory Commission on HIV/AIDS, 2002/2003. Mr. Francis was the founder and co-chairman of the Republican Unity Coalition (RUC) with Senator Alan K. Simpson. He co-authored the first reference on the Congressional Staff of the U.S. Congress, The Almanac of the Unelected, 1989-1991. Mr. Francis received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Virginia in 1973. He is a member of the University Club in New York, and resides in Washington, D.C.
