Kathy Lehne

Kathy Lehne founded wholesale fuel marketer and distributor Sun Coast Resources at age 23. It is apparently the largest woman-owned business in Texas, with a fleet of more than 700 trucks and more than 1,300 drivers, despite plunging gasoline prices affecting business recently. Her husband, Kyle, a VP of sales who joined 11 years after its founding, is an employee. The company has proven particularly adept at responding to emergencies, providing fuel to areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy and Katrina. Lehne reportedly plays high-stakes poker in her free time. Lehne did not cooperate with Forbes, citing a desire to minimize potential personal security risks.
