She attended the Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, N.J., and graduated from Bowdoin College with an AB in classics and archaeology. She also received an MPhil in fine and decorative arts from Christie’s in London and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. She is the daughter of Daniel Oliver and Anna Louise Vietor Oliver of Washington, D.C. and Edgartown. Her mother served as ambassador to UNESCO in Paris, France, from 2004 to 2009. Her father was chairman of the Federal Trade Commission under President Ronald Reagan and is currently a senior director of the White House Writers Group in Washington, D.C.
