Jonathan Goldin was appointed to the Board on December 12, 2013. He is the General Counsel of Goldin Associates, LLC, a financial advisory firm that specializes in restructuring, valuation and forensic financial issues. As the firm’s chief legal officer and a member of its Management Committee, Mr. Goldin oversees a broad array of legal and operational matters. Before joining Goldin Associates, he practiced law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Mr. Goldin is active in several non-profit and civic organizations; he is a Trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission and a member of the New York Committee on Non-Lawyers and the Justice Gap, the New York Commercial Division Advisory Council, the New York City Bar Committee on Bankruptcy and Reorganization and the Pro Bono Advisory Council of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest. Mr. Goldin received a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Sidney H. Stein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Hon. José A. Cabranes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
