Stephen Barry Sadosky

He grew up in East Hartford, attended Penney High School and graduated in 1971 from University of Connecticut Engineering Program. He continued his career development with Knolls Atomic Power Lab supporting the "Father of the Nuclear Navy" Admiral Hyman G. Rickover's Naval Propulsion Program, and later advanced to nuclear operations training with Yankee Atomic and the Magnaflux Corporation. Steve's extensive experience in the nuclear industry spanned 30 years, from 1971 through 2001, including: engineering, construction, operations, quality programs and management with leading US firms and utilities. His love of the water and all things marine led him into yacht sales and he had several brokerage offices in New England, then he launched Viva Yachts Inc. which he operated while still involved in the nuclear industry. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Dalton, daughter Ann Desilets, sister Sharon Schatz, brother Lenny Sadosky and two grandchildren.
