Krisann Pearce

Krisann A. Pearce advises clients on the implementation of federal education laws and assists in the development and promotion of new education initiatives. Most recently, Ms. Pearce served for six years as deputy director of education and human resources policy on the House Education and the Workforce Committee, serving under House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-OH). During this time, she worked on all education and human resources issues within the Committee's jurisdiction. Previously, she worked on higher education policy for the National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs, and earlier worked for Sen. Nancy Kassebaum (R-KS) as education policy counsel on the Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee. Ms. Pearce began her career as a teacher in the Olathe, Kansas, public schools. Ms. Pearce received her B.S. in 1988, her M.S. in 1991 and her J.D. in 1995 from the University of Kansas School of Law. During law school, she interned for Sen. Kassebaum. Ms. Pearce is a member of the Kansas and District of Columbia Bars.
