Elliot Sloane

Elliot Sloane is the Founder and Advisor of Sloane & Company, which he founded in 1998. Since then, Sloane & Company has become an industry leading strategic communications firm specializing in corporate and financial public relations, investor relations, issues management and crisis communications, transaction support, and public affairs. Throughout his career, Elliot has provided strategic counsel to some of the world’s most notable organizations, ensuring effective communication to investors, the media, employees and other critical audiences. He is often on the front lines with executive teams, helping them to manage through complex and difficult situations. As a result, Sloane & Company was awarded with Corporate Agency of the Year in 2015 and Crisis Agency of the Year in both 2010 and 2012. Elliot is also intimately involved in day-to-day client programs, including companies such as AT&T, Elliott Management, Walgreens, Liberty Media, Ryman Hospitality Properties, TiVo, New York Life, and Cablevision. Before Sloane & Company, Elliot was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Edelman Financial Worldwide, the global financial relations practice of Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. Prior to Edelman, Elliot was Vice President, Director of Financial Media Relations at Ruder Finn. He has also worked at Morgen-Walke Associates, managing integrated investor and public relations programs, and at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Companies, where he was Manager of Public Relations and Corporate Events. Elliot began his career at Burson-Marsteller, where he served in the Financial Relations group. Elliot holds a B.A. in English from Columbia College and is a member of the Public Relations Society in America.
