Mark Alan Jones

Mark Alan Jones serves as an external relations officer for the Illinois Policy Institute. In this role, Mark works closely with individuals, foundations and corporations interested in supporting the work of the Institute. Mark’s background includes extensive experience in both healthcare and higher education. He has held senior level fundraising positions with several colleges and universities, including The University of Illinois at Chicago, Beloit College, and Clarke University. Most recently, Mark served as Senior Major Gift Officer with the University of Toledo Foundation. Mark completed his undergraduate studies in business administration at Heidelberg University in Ohio and holds an MBA in marketing and strategic management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He and his wife Martessa reside in the near western suburbs of Chicago.
