Allen Blakemore

Allen Blakemore launched Houston-based Blakemore & Associates in 1988. Together with his wife Elizabeth, the firm now provides a wide range of political services including strategy, tactical implementation and fundraising as well as government relations consulting and lobbying. Prior to founding Blakemore & Associates, Allen served U.S. Senators John Tower and Phil Gramm. In 1985, he was selected as a fellow at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Republican Campaign Academy. A third generation Texan, Allen graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade. He and Elizabeth have two daughters and are members of First Presbyterian Church. They live in Houston.
