Gene Fleming most recently served as the Executive Chairman of ReDoc, a leading provider of documentation software for the physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation industries. Previously, Fleming served as Chairman, President and CEO of Cogent Healthcare from 2005 to 2011. When Cogent Healthcare merged with Hospitalists Management Group (HMG) in 2011, it formed the largest private hospitalist company in the US. Fleming has also served as President and CEO of Surgical Alliance Corporation, COO of Quorum Health Group and President of the Eastern Group at Hospital Corporation of America. Fleming is on the board of PhyMED Holdings and Aspire Healthcare. He is the former Chairman of the Florida League of hospitals and has served on the board of the Florida Hospital Association, the Federation of American Hospitals and the Regional Policy Board of the American Hospital Association. Fleming is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He received his B.S. in Business Administration and his MBA from East Carolina University.
